Eligibility Criteria
- Project Scientist: Master’s Degree in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/E-Waste Resource Engineering & Management OR Doctoral Degree in Chemistry/Materials Science/Physics. Requires 3 years of research experience.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Material Science OR B.Tech/BE in Metallurgy/Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical/Materials Science/Electrical Engineering.
- Technical Assistant: B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry OR Diploma in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical Support Staff: ITI in Metallurgy/Chemical/Mechanical/Fitter trade.
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Project Scientist: Maximum 37 years.
- JRF, Technical Assistant, Technical Support Staff: Maximum 30 years.
- Relaxation: OBC candidates receive 3 years, and SC/ST candidates receive 5 years of age relaxation.

Salary & Pay Scale
- Project Scientist: ₹58,000/- + 30% HRA (Total ₹75,400/-) + medical benefits.
- JRF: ₹31,000/- + 30% HRA (Total ₹40,300/-) + medical benefits.
- Technical Assistant: ₹20,000/- + 30% HRA (Total ₹26,000/-) + medical benefits.
- Technical Support Staff: ₹16,000/- + 30% HRA (Total ₹20,800/-) + medical benefits.
