Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have passed the 10th standard and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Please note that candidates who have already completed or are currently undergoing an apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act, 1961, are ineligible. Additionally, post-graduates are not eligible for this apprenticeship program.
Age Limit & Relaxation
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of 16 September 2026. The upper age limits are:
- General: 25 years
- OBC: 28 years
- SC/ST: 30 years

Salary & Pay Scale
Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on their trade:
- Trades with ₹11,040/-: Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Machinist, Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant), Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant), Motor Mechanics (Vehicle), Draughtsman (Mechanical).
- Trades with ₹10,560/-: COPA, Diesel Mechanic, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder, Stenographer (English).
Selection Process
Selection is conducted through a Walk-in-Interview. The NFC selection committee will review applications submitted via the NAPS portal and invite shortlisted candidates for the interview. Selected candidates must pass a Trade Test at the end of the training to receive the National Apprenticeship Certificate.
