Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following academic requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering, Thermal & Fluid Science, Energy Engineering, R&AC, or Computational Fluid Dynamics. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Energy Engineering is accepted.
  • Marks Requirement: For GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL, a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA at both UG and PG levels is required. For SC/ST/PwD, the requirement is 55% aggregate or 6.0 CGPA.
  • Bachelor’s Specifics: Candidates with a B.Tech/B.E must have a CGPA of 7.5/10 or 70% aggregate (GEN/OBC/EWS) or 7.0/10 or 65% aggregate (SC/ST/PwD).
  • Preference: GATE qualified candidates will be given preference, though it is not mandatory.

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • Maximum Age: 30 years.
  • Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable as per institute norms: 33 years for OBC-NCL and 35 years for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates.
