POWERGRID Diploma Trainee, Junior Officer Trainee & Junior Technician Trainee Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma Trainee (Electrical/Civil/Survey): Full-time regular three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 70% marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates.
• Junior Officer Trainee (HR): Three-year full-time regular graduate degree (BBA/BBM/BBS) with at least 60% marks.
• Junior Officer Trainee (F&A): Inter CA or Inter CMA qualification.
• Junior Technician Trainee (Survey): Full-time regular two-year ITI in Surveyor trade.

Age Limit & Relaxation

• Upper Age Limit: 27 years as of 11th May 2026.
• Relaxation: OBC (NCL) candidates receive 3 years, SC/ST candidates receive 5 years, and PwBD candidates receive up to 15 years of age relaxation as per government norms.

Application Fee

• General/OBC (NCL)/EWS: ₹300 for Diploma/JOT posts and ₹200 for JTT (Survey) posts.
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted from payment of application fees.

Salary & Pay Scale

• Medical Examination: Final selection is subject to passing the pre-employment medical examination.
