SSC Sub-Inspector Vacancy Details

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,871 vacancies across various forces:

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan.

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is mandatory for all posts. For SI (Fire) in CISF, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, or Telecommunication).
  • Driving License: Male candidates applying for SI in Delhi Police must possess a valid LMV (Motorcycle and Car) driving license by the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test.

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • General Posts: 20–25 years (born between 02.08.2001 and 01.08.2006).
  • SI (Fire) in CISF: 18–30 years (born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2008).
  • Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and Ex-Servicemen (3 years after deduction of military service).
