Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be citizens of India and possess the required academic qualifications as of July 10, 2026. Candidates must hold a B. Planning or B.Tech (Planning) degree. Degrees obtained through distance education must be recognized by the UGC, AICTE, or Distance Education Bureau.

Age Limit & Relaxation

As per G.O.Ms.No.86, the upper age limit has been raised to 44 years. The age is calculated as of July 1, 2026.

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 44 years
  • Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST/BC and EWS; 10 years for Physically Handicapped; 3 years plus service for Ex-Servicemen and NCC Instructors.

  • Application Processing Fee: ₹1,000 for OC & BC; ₹500 for SC, ST, and PwD.
  • Examination Fee: ₹120 for all applicants, except for unemployed candidates who are exempted.
